With our growth in business and number of communities served, we are hiring a Compliance Coordinator.  This person will be the fifth member of our department team which is currently comprised of three Compliance Specialists and the Director of Compliance who are continuously working to advance our department operations to meet the varied needs of our customers.    

Much of our portfolio consists of communities which have complex regulatory and agency requirements that our diligent team assures are adhered to.  This position does not require specific knowledge of housing and housing requirements.   

The ideal candidate will be someone who is a lifelong learner as housing policy is ever changing.  Must have a keen eye for detail and, have the ability to create timelines and meet deadlines.   

Serves as the Project Coordinator for resident requests for reasonable accommodations which includes tracking submissions, clarifying needs and remedies with Community Managers following established policies and procedures.  Prepares thoughtful written responses for customers in coordination with property teams.  

Will be the in-house department sleuth to obtain missing required resident information and documentation from community team membersProcesses straightforward requests for approval, or forwards to appropriate party for further consideration or denial.   

Coordinates with Operations Department: 

  • Prepares and tracks AFHMP; OCAF; PRAC; HAP renewals 
  • Prepares and tracks all Management Documents as required by Owner, Agency, Investor.  Maintains tickler, electronic file and paper file. 
  • Tracks all inspections and assist in preparing responses to Owners and Agencies.   
  • Coordinates HUD 2530 Previous Participation Certification updates with 3rd parties. 
  • Prefers Associate or bachelor's degree and excellent business writing skills.  Must perform basic business computations. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Sense of humor and flexibility highly preferred.   
  • Technical skills include basic Microsoft Office skills in Word and Excel.  Ability to learn our property management system, Boston Post.
